I just finished salvaging and selling off most of my chestrunning loot. Looks like I'll end up making most of the 300k worth of broken lockpicks back. Better than I expected, I was going in expecting to take a financial hit for the sake of making headway on the unlucky title. (150k to go )
I got several superior vigor runes, a few major ones and lots of mods and inscriptions worth selling, including a perfect "Forget me not" and many in the 4-5k range. Quite a lot of materials (especially iron and dust) too, thanks to swapping around the M&M inscriptions to make the most of them. Fronis Irontoe's dungeon chest consistently gave me 2 golds out of every 3 drops on HM. I got 280 rares out of 416 chests. Not bad at all.
I always expected the unlucky title to bankrupt me, but if I can keep this up, it's not so bad, just very very grindy.

I did a number of Snow worm runs from Boreal Station. These normally drop a pick fairly often, average about 1 pick every 2 (sometimes 3) runs. So I thought that with it being a triple drop weekend.. I'd see a lot. And so it started off.. first run, 3 picks (Wahoo). second run 1, 3rd 0, 4th 2.. and then a looooonnnng succession of pickless worm kills.
So long that I wondered if there actually was this fabled triple pick drop weekend. And TBH, I don't think there was.

I have no complaints. I did the wurm run outside of Boreal. A pick dropped every couple of runs on average, and I broke a pick every couple of runs (53% retention), so I advanced Lucky, Unlucky, TH, and Wisdom at zero cost in lockpicks all weekend.

I did some chest running, which was nice despite my retain rate being on a bit of a bad run (probably got 45% instead of my 58% over about 100 chests). Made alot of progress on lucky and unlucky there.
I decided to get to work on my second Master Dungeon Guide (NM) to do some pick collecting and more chest use while I was at it. I think I got probably 5 or 6 picks from drops and 4 more from hidden treasures (plus one from the Burrows chest), which was all told safely above my average drop rate.
In the end I ranked up in unlucky from 3 to 4 with about 20k points gained, and made significant headway on r3 lucky, with about 40k gained for around 150 chests towards TH (where r5 is looking much closer).
Meant to do some 60g chest running to catch lucky back up with unlucky a bit, but never got around to it.

Had a lockpick drop yesterday. That matched the lockpick drop rate for the triple weekend for me. Of course, I also had two steel keys drop that weekend (yippee).
And the lockpicks I did use? Grapes and all broke. Again, yippee.
Triple nothing is *still* nothing, folks.

I've been continuing my wurm runs and haven't noticed any change in the pick drop rate compared to the triple weekend. The runs are still break-even for me, where I'm getting as many picks as I break on the chests. The only difference is that I'm only getting 250 lucky points for retention instead of 500.

Yeah I got ripped off on the unlucky points when I broke my pick. I just stopped right there and wen on to do something else and leave the repetitive farming to St Patties day...

I ran 3 person CoF HM got 2-4 picks, opened 10 chests per run 30% retention r4/r4.
Did Boreal chest run NM at 60% retention would lose on average 7 picks per 30 opened.
317 chest opened
60k Lucky points gained
